EYelights - app, logo and publicity

UX-UI design, Motion design, Graphic design
EyeLights, a tech company based in Toulouse, asked me to complete three tasks as part of their interview process: fully redesign their Captain Rider app, create a new logo, and produce a 30-second commercial for their product.
The deadline was extremely tight, just 2 full days, which was particularly challenging given the scope of work, especially the 3D elements required for the video.
Although I wasn’t selected to join the team (due my lack of knowledge in VR), it was a fascinating project to work on. Let’s walk through my thought process, I hope you enjoy it.
To finish, I designed the Captain Rider mobile app, an interface first thought to simple enable motorcyclists to communicate and manage connected HUD devices.
The project began with extensive benchmarking of communication, automotive, and smart helmet apps to define UX references and competitive standards.
I developed detailed user flows, wireframes, and zoning to ensure an intuitive onboarding process, seamless group creation, and device pairing.
The visual design blends futuristic aesthetics with a bold interface, using vibrant blue accents and motion-inspired visuals to reflect the energy of the riding community.
I even refined the purpose of the app (last image) to allow the user to do more than just calling a group : chatting with them and organizing rides.
The result is a dynamic, feature-rich app that enhances both the safety and sociability of the Eyelights riding experience.
I also developed a full 3D motion design sequence to introduce the product and its vision-driven technology. The process began with a competitive benchmark and visual research across music, 3D assets, and futuristic UI inspiration.
A storyboard was then hand-sketched to map out the animation flow, highlighting key visual cues like eye-tracking, HUD integration, and immersive environments.
I produced both an animatic and a polished final motion video, ensuring a coherent narrative from concept to execution.
The final animation reflects the core values of Eyelights, precision, innovation, and immersive visibility, while reinforcing the brand’s futuristic identity.

Eyelights – Beyond the Visible
This branding project was developed for a tech-forward company specializing in HUD and AI-enhanced vision systems.
I began by identifying key ideas such as mobility, precision, security, and futuristic vision, and benchmarked leading companies like Magic Leap, Microsoft, and WayRay.
After exploring multiple visual directions through hand-drawn sketches, I refined three strong concepts centered around the eye and HUD integration. The final logo merges an abstract eye with projection cues, using electric blues and futuristic typefaces like Orbitron and Chakra Petch.
The brand was delivered in various adaptable formats (light, dark, monochrome) and tested across packaging, merchandise, and digital assets.
